RETROZOKU ELECTROCOMPO
LIMITED WARRANTY
PRODUCT COVERED: RETROZOKU Electrocompo
Each new RETROZOKU Electrocompo (“Electrocompo”) sold by RETROZOKU (“RETROZOKU,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) includes the following Limited Warranty for the original retail purchaser only.
Proof of original purchase is required for all warranty claims.
1. Limited Warranty Coverage
Subject to the terms, conditions, and limitations described below, RETROZOKU warrants to the original retail purchaser that:
(a) The frame and structural components will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal intended use for a period of 365 days from the date of delivery.
(b) The electrical and drivetrain components, including but not limited to the motor, controller, throttle, wiring harness, and battery, will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal intended use for a period of 365 days from the date of delivery.
This Limited Warranty applies only to defects that existed at the time of delivery.
Rechargeable batteries naturally degrade over time due to charge and discharge cycles. Reduction in battery capacity is considered normal wear and is not a defect.
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
2. Warranty Remedies (Replacement Parts Only)
RETROZOKU does not operate authorized service centers or dealers and does not perform repairs.
If a warranty claim is approved, RETROZOKU’s sole obligation is to provide a replacement part for the defective component, at RETROZOKU’s discretion.
- RETROZOKU will not provide labor, installation, diagnostics, or repair services.
- All replacement parts must be installed by the owner or at the owner’s expense.
- RETROZOKU assumes no responsibility for improper installation.
If a part is not covered under this Limited Warranty, replacement parts may be made available for purchase.
3. Requirements for Warranty Coverage
This Limited Warranty applies only if all of the following conditions are met:
- The Electrocompo was purchased directly from RETROZOKU.
- The claimant is the original purchaser.
- The Electrocompo has been used for its reasonable intended purpose.
- The Electrocompo has not been modified, altered, or repaired with non-RETROZOKU parts.
- Electrical systems, wiring, and components have not been tampered with.
4. Exclusions
This Limited Warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Cosmetic damage, paint wear, or rust
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, or improper storage
- Damage caused by water exposure beyond intended use
- Use of improper chargers or power sources
- Stunt riding, racing, jumping, or competitive use
- Commercial or rental use
- Installation of third-party parts or accessories
- Damage caused by improper installation of replacement parts
- Products with removed, altered, or illegible serial numbers
- Products used outside the United States
Any modification to electrical or mechanical components voids this Limited Warranty.
5. Wear Items
Certain components are subject to normal wear and are not covered under this Limited Warranty, including but not limited to:
- Tires
- Brake pads and rotors
- Chains or belts
- Bearings
- Grips
- Seats
- Suspension wear components
Replacement of wear items is the responsibility of the owner.
6. Owner Responsibility
The Electrocompo is designed to be owner-serviceable at a basic mechanical level.
By purchasing the Electrocompo, the owner acknowledges that:
- All repairs and replacements are performed at the owner’s risk
- RETROZOKU is not responsible for damage caused by improper installation
- Failure to follow provided instructions may void warranty coverage
7. Disclaimer of Other Warranties
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE SOLE WARRANTY PROVIDED BY RETROZOKU.
ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE DISCLAIMED TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
RETROZOKU DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE ELECTROCOMPO WILL MEET ANY PARTICULAR EXPECTATION OR REQUIREMENT.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RETROZOKU SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF TIME, OR LOSS OF ENJOYMENT.
RETROZOKU’S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT.
9. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from this Limited Warranty shall be resolved through binding arbitration, not in court, in accordance with applicable arbitration rules. Class actions are not permitted.
